5 Early Heart Attack Signs

Restraining the flow of blood to the heart is the primary cause of a heart attack. The blockage occurs due to fat, cholesterol, and another substance buildup in your arteries which feeds the heart. These buildups of plaque can also rupture to form a clot in your artery, blocking the flow of blood. This blockage can lead to damage, sometimes destroying a part of your heart muscles. Whatever might be the reason, as soon as you notice any symptoms of a heart attack, it is necessary to call the emergency room immediately.

What Are The Common Early Signs Of A Heart Attack?

Blood passes through a lot of arteries, veins, bicuspid valve, and tricuspid valve, to keep you going. A blockage anywhere in these places can cause a heart attack. But before it happens, you would notice the following symptoms and you should never ignore them:

Pressure, tightness, pain, squeezing, or aching sensation arising on your chest or arm, spreading to your jaws, necks, and backs- This is the most common symptom of heart attack and you should never ignore it. Call an emergency room immediately.

Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, and Abdominal Pain- Food poisoning or oily food can also cause these issues, but if you have not eaten any such things or experience extremes of these issues, consult your doctor right away.

Cold Sweat- If you start sweating in an AC room or feel uneasy suddenly, you should contact the emergency room. This is also a very common early sign of getting a heart attack.

Fatigue- If you feel tired or have a lack of energy, chances are high that blood is not properly flowing through your tricuspid valve. This needs immediate addressing and hence you must consult your doctor right away.

Dizziness or LightHeadedness- If you feel weak, dizzy, or lightheaded suddenly, without any reason, then that should be an alarm for upcoming heart issues and need immediate addressing.

Every person suffering from a heart attack would not have the same symptoms or same severity of the condition. While some people experience mild pain, others might have severe pain, while a few patients do not experience any pain at all. For them, there are no early signs, and they experience cardiac arrest suddenly. But in case you experience any of the above symptoms, there is a high chance that you are getting a heart attack, and hence you should contact your doctor immediately.

There are several other symptoms of heart attack as well like stomach pain, snoring, sweating, continuous coughing, swollen legs, feet, ankles, irregular heartbeat, etc. These might or might not be cardiac arrest symptoms, but in case you experience any such thing, it is essential to consult your doctor immediately. Getting an early check-up can save you from this deadly health issue.
